A free support program to help MPA managers channel tourism revenues
To help MPA managers develop and diversify revenues, we published a practical guide on MPA financing mechanisms. We wish to go further and support directly MPA managers in the implementation of such financing mechanisms.
Following our first program on visitor fees for marine protected areas, the second support program we are now launching is dedicated to the implementation of concessions.
Concession agreements between private tourism operators and MPAs could channel a part of tourism revenues towards marine conservation.
Discover the content of our support program below.
Through this programme, we will lead you, step-by-step, through the different processes resulting in the final implementation of a concession in your MPA.
