The BlueSeeders were in Monastir to support the association Notre Grand Bleu in the development of an efficient and sustainable financial strategy.
After a site visit on Saturday, the BlueSeeds team and the members of Notre Grand Bleu conducted two initial working sessions on the association’s business model. Meetings with local and national representatives of the Agency for the Protection and Development of the Coastal Zone were also organised in parallel for the sustainability of the management of the future marine and coastal protected area of the Kuriat Islands.
Fair Carbon invited BlueSeeds to Kenya to be trained in the development of carbon projects with workshops and field visits.
BlueSeeds took part in a roundtable of the Blue Belt Programme exploring financing mechanisms for marine protected areas in UK Overseas Territories.
In Coyah in Guinea, Timothée and Guillaume delivered a training course in business planning to representatives of all the protected areas of Guinea and the Guinean Office of Parks and Reserves (OGUIPAR).
